Then Now When is probably best described as a micro-multidisciplinary practices. We can provide a range of services and as well as providing a full range of our services for a single project we also regularly work in collaboration with other architects and consultants. We can act as your architect, your heritage consultant, your retrofit and sustainability consultant or all three if your project requires it.

Working in this multidisciplinary way allows us to embrace the opportunities and constraints that heritage and sustainability bring within our designs rather than adding these in later. It also has the added benefit of being more efficient in both time and cost for our clients as there is less repeated work or need for back and forth with other consultants.

As well as working as conservation architects, we regularly work as a heritage consultant alongside other architectural practices. Other architects enjoy working with us as we have a full understanding of the architectural design process. ARCHITECT
Then Now When provides a full range of architectural services for all RIBA work stages (0-7) - from initial feasibility, concept design and planning, to tendering construction on site and post-occupancy work. ​We create a bespoke set of services for every project, depending on your needs, timeline and budget to ensure that you get the most from us.
